Xolo Q2500 PocketPad versus Micromax Canvas XL: A features comparison and review

With a price of Rs 14999, the Xolo Q2500 PocketPad is a 6-inch smartphone with a specifications sheet which closely resembles that of the Micromax Canvas XL A119. So what could we do but pit these two Android phones against each other and see which one comes on top with respect to features and how much cash they command in return for the whole package?

Taking the similarities of the Q2500 PocketPad and the Micromax smartphone into consideration first, both come with 6-inch screens, 8MP main cameras, quad core processors and 1GB of RAM. They also run on Android Jelly Bean and offer 32GB microSD card support in addition to 4GB of onboard memory. So far so good.

Micromax Canvas XL A119

Main differences:

The Micromax phone has a 960 x 540p qHD display. It embeds a 5MP webcam which is obviously a more impressive feature when put against the Xolo device’s 2MP front camera. But then, the latter has a better touchscreen offering 1280 x 720p resolution visuals. The A119 has a 2450mAh power pack, while the PocketPad gets its high from a bigger 3000mAh one.
