Xolo Q2500 PocketPad is a 6-inch quad core phone launched for Rs 14999

Xolo has got around to launching a Q2500 PocketPad with a 6-inch HD display and a Rs 14999 price tag in India. While it may sound like a tablet if you go by the name, the device is actually a phablet with a plain-looking black exterior.

The Xolo Q2500 PocketPad has a quad core processor and 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android Jelly Bean. If the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual was too expensive for you and you weren’t impressed by the Micromax Canvas XL’s 960 x 540p screem, then this is probably an option you could consider. Admittedly, the latter is cheaper and has a 5MP webcam, while the PocketPad makes do with a 2MP one.

The 3G-capable Xolo phone’s quad core chip is a 1.3GHz MediaTek one. It features 4GB of onboard storage and you can expand the memory space by slipping a microSD card of up to 32GB into the provided slot. The device has a 3000mAh battery out of which you can squeeze roughly 15 hours of 3G talk time. Apparently, you can get 40 hours of the same if you’re on a 2G network.
