Xolo Play Tegra Note tablet finally goes up for sale for Rs 17,999

After months of speculations, the Xolo Play Tegra Note tablet has been officially launched in India and its price remains to be what we had seen on some online retailers, which was Rs 17,999. All leading retail outlets and shopping portals are slated to stock up on the gadget from today onwards.

This Xolo tablet boasts of an ‘industrial design’ and is accompanied by a digitizer deployed with the Nvidia DirectStylus technology that brings a responsive experience and broader stroke control amongst other things. Its 5MP HDR camera makes the most of the computation photography architecture as well as the built-in chip’s processing power for advanced image-capturing capabilities.

And what’s more, there’s Nvidia PureAudio for improved sound reproduction and TegraZone for facilitating on-the-go gaming. The Nvidia-certified slate is based on the Tegra Note platform and binges on the Jelly Bean 4.2 OS. The Android 4.3 update will soon be rolled out for the gadget, says the company.

The compact device featuring a 7-inch touchscreen sports dual camera and gains steam from a quad core chipset that has a fifth battery-saver core as well. A 72-core GeForce GPU is responsible for maintaining a smooth graphics performance. It can cough up the juice for HD video playback time of close to 10 hours.

The Xolo Play Tegra Note is now up for grabs for a price of just under Rs 18,000.
