Xolo One smartphone up on company’s site with Rs 6599 tag, coming with Lollipop update

As if the name Xolo One wasn’t enough, this smartphone has modeled itself along the lines of other Android One handsets but bears no official branding for the same by Google. It’s priced at Rs 6599, but has only been listed on its company’s website, and has not yet made it onto retail stores or e-commerce sites.

This device comes equipped with a 4.5-inch IPS panel that showcases its visuals in a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. While Android 4.4 KitKat is its default OS, the company hasn’t hesitated to promise that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update will be released for it in the future.

Xolo One Rear

What’s attractive about the dual SIM Xolo One is its elegant design which is highlighted by its faux leather rear surface. Inside the handset, you’ll find a quad core processor toiling at 1.3GHz, while it will be assisted in its operations by a Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 1GB worth of RAM.

8GB of storage space has made its way onto this Xolo handset, apart from a microSD card slot which can be used for expansions of up to 32GB. A 5MP rear camera has been granted to it as well, while a VGA snapper can be found resting on its front surface.
