XOLO announces HIVE UI for its 8X-1000 octa-core smartphone

Xolo is the first mobile devices company in India to make its very own user interface and it’s called Hive UI, a creation which debuted on the 8X-1000 octa-core smartphone. The new handset features a premium design and it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat while flaunting a mid-range Rs 13999 price tag.

The Xolo Hive UI has been designed based on a massive amount of consumer research and it aims to offer a convenient experience to users. Just like Xiaomi’s MIUI, the interface will allow you to customize it to your liking through themes, icons, widgets and a lot more. The OEM has also partnered with various Indian designers to create related content.

Another highlight of the new interface is that it enables users to join the development team to showcase their ideas and even connect with the brains behind the software through an integrated app. The user community votes on which new ideas they wish to see and Xolo has promised to make them available via OTA updates.
