Xiaomi Mi 4 smartphone can now be purchased without registering first

The Xioami Mi 4 handset has been on sale in India for a few weeks only and while the flash sale approach is working as expected, the company will be dropping the strategy from today onwards. This basically means that you’ll be able to purchase the phone without registering for a sale and waiting as long as a week for the device to become available.

The open sale for the Xiaomi Mi 4 is limited to the 16GB model only and is already live on Flipkart. The company also did the same thing with the Redmi Note 4G phablet stating that it has enough stock at hand. Such is most likely the case with the flagship handset as well, but we might see the device go out of stock depending on how much demand it gets.

If you’re looking forward to grabbing the 64GB model, Xiaomi notes that you’ll have to register for the next sale which is scheduled for March 3 at 2MP. At Rs 19999, the 16GB model does have a lot to offer, not in the storage department though. The internal memory is all you get and the only means of expansion is via USB OTG.
