The Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini may soon join its bigger sibling among the Chinese brand’s lineup of handsets. The latter was announced just last week as the company’s first dual-camera and deca-core processor phone.
As can be guessed by its name, the rumored Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini will be smaller than its previous variant. It’s apparently going to sport a 5.2-inch OLED 2.5D curved display, a tad lesser than the older handset’s 5.5-inch size. Moreover, it won’t be carrying a twin-lens system on its back, as per the leak.
According to Android Pure, Xiaomi will instead opt for a single camera with a dual-tone LED flash unit to keep it company. The deca-core chipset will similarly be abandoned in favor of an octa-core Snapdragon 652 SoC. Other major specs include a fingerprint sensor embedded within the home button and a 4000mAh battery.

3 versions of the Redmi Pro Mini are apparently going to be available. One will sport 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM at CNY 1499 (roughly Rs 15077). The other is set to contain 4GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM at CNY 1699 (approx Rs 17088). Finally, the top-of-the-line variant could feature 4GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM priced at CNY 1899 (about Rs 19100).
It should be noted that there’s no way to verify if this leak is accurate or not. The image of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini which has gotten leaked is nothing more than a sketch, which doesn’t exactly lend confidence as to whether it exists or not.
