The Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime has finally arrived in India and can be bought in exchange of Rs 8499. It will be sold exclusively via Amazon starting from 10 am on December 15.

The 4G-ready Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime is the brand’s second Made in India offering. Like the Redmi 2 Prime, it too was produced in partnership with Foxconn at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. The company’s Twitter handle has been teasing the launch of the device for quite some time now. Diving into its specs, one of the main highlights of the dual-SIM phone is its 3100mAh battery.

Xiaomi claims the power efficiency of the 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor working in tandem with the battery saving tools of the Android 4.4 KitKat-based MIUI 7 OS helps the smartphone deliver a standby time of 775 hours and talk time of 38 hours. On the memory front, it packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

Users can add up to 32GB of extra room via a microSD card slot. Coming to its photography capabilities, the Redmi Note Prime boasts of having a 13MP main camera which comes with a 28mm wide-angle lens, an aperture of f/2.2, LED flash and zero shutter lag. There’s also a 5MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video calls.
