Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 lands in India, Mi 5 coming in April

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has finally arrived in India, with the brand choosing to debut the Snapdragon variant of the handset here instead of the original MediaTek chipset one. The phone’s launch event also saw the unveiling of the company’s colorful Mi Bluetooth Speaker.

The all-metal Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 will soon be joined by the Mi 5 in a month’s time. The latter has already been released in China, racking up 16 million registrations for its first flash sale. The former should do quite well here, with one of its biggest draws being the brand new hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor which promises speeds of up to 1.8GHz with the help of an Adreno 510 GPU.
