Xiaomi is kicking off a flash sale for the Redmi 3S Prime in India on August 17 at 12pm. The smartphone will be sold on Flipkart as well as the Chinese company’s online Mi store. It is available in 3 color variants – gold, silver and grey.
What’s more, there will be no need for potential buyers to register for the sale. The budget Redmi 3S Prime is pegged at Rs 8999. Flipkart is bundling it with an exclusive exchange bonus which reduces its price by up to Rs 7000 when users trade in their old devices.
The Redmi 3S Prime is fitted with a 5-inch display of 720p resolution. It features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset with the Adreno 505 GPU. The processor works along with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. Android Marshmallow is the OS running on the phone. The device has a generous 4100mAh battery and 4G support.

A 13MP rear camera and 5MP front lens grace the Redmi 3S Prime. The back of the device is fitted with a fingerprint sensor. Standard connectivity options like dual SIM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB are present on the gadget.
