The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is all set to hit India on October 10, with the brand officially announcing an event on that date to be held in New Delhi. The very first Mi Mix came out last year but never found its way out of China.
India will effectively become the first market outside of China to get its hands on the Mi Mix 2. The phone turned many heads with its bezel-less design when it was announced last month. The style is pretty much the same as the original, except the bottom border has gotten 12% smaller and the screen has shrunk from a huge 6.4-inch to a more compact 5.99-inch.
Moreover, the aspect ratio has changed from 17:9 to 18:9. The latter makes the Mi Mix 2 more in line with rivals like the Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 8, and LG G6. On the inside, Xiaomi has switched from a cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic technology to a new sound guided 50W high power speaker design to make up for the lack of an earpiece.
Xiaomi had announced 2 versions of the handset. The standard one is available in 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 6GB/256GB options priced at CNY 3299 (approx Rs 32380), CNY 3599 (around Rs 35330), and CNY 3999 (approx Rs 39250), respectively.
