The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has made its way to India, becoming the latest Android phone to sport a bezel-less design. It’s gotten slapped with a Rs 35999 price tag, putting it on-par with devices like the OnePlus 5.
The Mi Mix 2 will also have to compete with borderless smartphones like the iPhone X, Galaxy S8, LG G6, and Galaxy Note 8. The Xiaomi phone is considerably cheaper than its rivals, though not as affordable as other bezel-free options like the Vivo V7+ and LG Q6.
It’ll be interesting to see how the Xiaomi flagship fares in India seeing as how it dominates the budget market sector and doesn’t really have a presence in the premium one. It’s got a lot going for it, from its 5.99-inch 18:9 almost borderless screen to its Snapdragon 835 processor.
The Mi Mix 2 is set to be available only in a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM variant. The company had launched 3 different storage models and a Special Edition iteration in China last month, with the latter featuring an all-ceramic body and a whopping 8GB of RAM.
