Xiaomi Mi Headphones Comfort launched in India

Xiaomi’s launched the Mi Headphones Comfort in India and plans to begin selling the product via its website starting from April 18 at 12 noon. It’s slapped the accessory with a Rs 2999 price tag.

Xiaomi is touting the Mi Headphones Comfort’s minimalist style, with no visible markings on the outside. It’s been blessed with soft PU ear cups that are supposed to be breathable and offer a comfortable fit that’s light on the ears. The headphones’ closed-back design is meant to seal in music and ward off noise and sound leakage.

One of the main highlights of the Mi Headphones Comfort is the touch-sensitive left ear cup that allows users access to music and call controls without having to pull their handset out. Pressing once answers calls and plays or pauses playback, tapping thrice goes back to the previous track, and knocking twice goes to the next track.

In terms of specs, the Xiaomi device features a 32-ohm impedance and frequency range of 20 – 40000Hz. The brand claims that the high-quality damping material translates to the headphones being able to absorb the impact of internal acoustic waves on the diaphragm. This in turn means that sound distortion is reduced and clarity and sharpness is raised.
