Xiaomi Mi 5 cost dropped by Rs 2000

Xiaomi has permanently slashed the price of the Mi 5 by Rs 2000 only for the Indian markets. Buyers had to shell out Rs 24999 for the flagship phone previously but can now snap it up for Rs 22999. The company’s India head Manu Kumar Jain tweeted about the revised cost today.

The Mi 5 is available for sale online on various e-commerce portals and the official Mi website. At the time of publishing, however, only the Mi site and Flipkart showed the updated cost. The other e-sellers may make the change soon.
