Flipkart will also be holding an open sale for the Xiaomi Mi 4i smartphone on Monday and Tuesday next week, that’s on May 25 and 26. The announcement of the open availability for the latter came not long after the former revealed its plan.
And this clearly looks as if the Xiaomi Mi 4i wants to steal the spotlight from the Lenovo handset. Many believe that the latter phone could be discontinued soon. But in case of the handset in question, the company could be slowly transitioning away from the flash sale strategy. In the past, it carried out multiple open sales before making devices permanently available to all.
If so, we could see Xiaomi bring the latest smartphone to other ecommerce giants including Amazon in the coming weeks. The open sale will run for two whole days and this clearly means that there will be quite a huge inventory available. And if you’ve wanted to purchase the device with no luck in the past, the upcoming sale couldn’t be any better of an opportunity.

The Mi 4i is a cheaper version of the Mi 4 as it drops the premium build for a plastic design. The internal hardware has been modified as well, in order to bring down the overall cost. Nevertheless, the phone is still a very attractive one, especially for its price of Rs 12999.
