Xiaomi Mi 3 to make a comeback this Diwali with priority passes for a select few

The Xiaomi Mi 3 may not be officially up for grabs in India at present, but its second coming is being highly anticipated amongst potential customers. Well, it looks like the wait isn’t going to be very long as the device will reportedly go on sale in India during the season of Diwali.

Xiaomi’s India Head, Manu Jain, confirmed this information himself at a conference held in Banglore. What he hasn’t disclosed is the exact date on which the device will go on sale. And there are multiple other questions we’d like answers to as well, like will be company continue to implement its flash sales approach and how many units of the smartphone can we expect this time?

Xiaomi Mi 3

In bygone sales, the Xiaomi Mi 3 would normally be offered in batches of 10000 units, the last sale being the only one with an inventory of 20000. And in a span of a month, the company managed to sell around 100000 smartphones. The Xiaomi Redmi 1S has already surpassed this mark mainly because it’s being offered in higher numbers.
