Xiaomi has announced major price drops for the Mi 5 and Mi 4 during its upcoming Mi 2nd Anniversary celebration in India. The handset maker had previously announced a slew of deals for the festival which is meant to celebrate its second birthday in the nation.
The Xiaomi Mi 2nd Anniversary extravaganza is taking place between July 20 and 22. During that time, interested buyers who are looking to buy the Mi 5 can snap up the handset at Rs 22999, a major Rs 2000 drop from its original Rs 24999 cost.
The Mi 5 first came out in India back in March this year. Now would be the ideal time to pick up the flagship phone for people who were waiting for the device to get cheaper. The Chinese brand is also going to vend the Mi 4 at a lower rate than before, slashing its cost by Rs 4000 from Rs 14999 to Rs 10999.

Those in the market for a new pair of wireless speakers are also in luck, since Xiaomi has reduced the cost of its Mi Bluetooth Speaker by Rs 700, effectively bringing its value down from Rs 2699 to Rs 1999. Other than these straightforward cuts, the company is also going to host a Re 1 flash sale on each day of the festival for the Mi 5, Redmi Note 3, Mi Band, Mi Max, 20000mAh Mi Power Bank, and Mi Bluetooth Speaker.
