The Xiaomi Mi 4i which was being teased for days, has finally been unveiled in India for an affordable price of Rs 12999. You can’t lay your hands on the Xiaomi Mi 4i yet since it will be released into the market only on April 30. Flipkart has started accepting registrations for the smartphone and plans to have a flash sale for it at 2pm on the appointed day.
Some really impressive features make their way into the Xiaomi Mi 4i. The one disappointment is that there’s nothing unusual to look at in terms of design. A 5-inch full HD Sharp/JDI touchscreen with 441ppi sharpness can be found on the front. Above this is a 5MP camera included especially for those who are always in pursuit of the ‘perfect selfie’.
The back panel plays hosts to a 13MP Sony/Samsung IMX214 camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 5-element lens and a stacked CMOS sensor. A powerful 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, hides just under the hood of the Mi 4i. It is aided by 2GB of RAM, while the software aboard is Android 5.0 dressed with the company’s homegrown MIUI 6.

Two SIM card slots, each of which is capable of supporting 4G LTE, have been dropped into the Xiaomi Mi 4i smartphone. Xiaomi hasn’t slipped a microSD card slot into the Mi 4i. It’s only going to be made available in the color white and the company’s giving away a unit to a lucky fan for every 500 Facebook shares it gets for the post embedded below.
