Xiaomi launches first offline retail phone Redmi 3S+

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 3S+ that will be sold exclusively through offline retail stores. This is the first product that the company will not sell online or through a flash sale. The device has been made available in nearly 7500 retail outlets.

Feature-wise, the Redmi 3S+ is quite similar to its popular cousin the Redmi 3S Prime. The former has a 5-inch display in 720p resolution. Xiaomi has provided it with a 5MP front snapper and a 13MP main camera with LED flash. It also hosts a fingerprint sensor on the rear.

The only point of difference between the Redmi 3S Prime and the Redmi 3S+ is that the latter has 2GB RAM which is lesser than that of the former. It is powered by a Snapdragon 430 SoC and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Internal memory on this handset is of 32GB and it can be expanded up to 128GB.

The dual SIM Redmi 3S+ supports 4G and VoLTE connectivity. It is juiced by a 4100mAh battery. Connectivity options present on the gadget include Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth. The handset is being sold in dark grey, gold and silver color variants.
