Windows Phone users to receive update for Yahoo! Mail synchronization inefficacy

Windows Yahoo Mail Logo Quite a few Windows Phone users have been reportedly witnessing an incompetent speed in data flow. The official Yahoo! Mail blog recently admitted to there being a Yahoo! Mail disability in synchronizing for Windows Phone users, resulting in larger than expected data being used.

At the time being, this issue can be resolved by simply changing the Windows Phone settings and updating Yahoo! Mail. Lately, Yahoo! Mail had been generating a lot of data usage than necessary or desirable. While all fingers point at Yahoo! Mail being the culprit, whether there are other bugs involved continues to remain under wraps. Even though the problem is not yet resolved, an update on the same will be provided.

The company is working with Microsoft to resolve this issue and a link to Microsoft’s support page has been laid down. This link enables users to change their Windows Phone settings and minimize the frequency of Yahoo! Mail updates on the phone. Amidst the continued inconvenience, we can expected additional information on the issue to be divulged as soon as the update is out.
