Taking inspiration from the season which is almost about to end, many OEMs have delivered a pallid variant of some handset or the other, the latest addition to this range being the white Nokia Lumia 800. Originally dressed in pink, cyan and black, the snow white edition is all set to roll out in Europe this month.

The gadget is ready for a February release in countries like the UK, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Scandinavia, Poland, Italy, France and Switzerland. The 800 was introduced late last year along with the Lumia 710. Both these phones kicked off the Windows Phone 7.5 range for the Finnish manufacturer. The Mango OS enables access to the Windows Marketplace which boasts of over 55,000 applications.

“Since we began selling it late last year, the Nokia Lumia 800 has received rave reviews around the world,” conveyed Ilari Nurmi, Vice President of Product Marketing, Nokia. “Now in white, the Lumia 800 brings with it an even more premium look and feel with its gloss finish, but packed with power and performance underneath its sleek body.”

Embedded with a 1.4GHz processor, this handset flaunts a 3.7-inch AMOLED ClearBlack contour touch display. The white surface on the flip side is gracefully dotted by an 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash. The smartphone is integrated with user memory of 16GB and offered along with the SkyDrive storage facility as well. It is also pre-loaded with Internet Explorer 9 which supports web browsing sessions.

Precise details about the white Nokia Lumia 800 release date and price are not known yet. However, since it is just a color change, the price tag is expected to remain the same.
