Not too long ago, we had reported about AT&T putting up the Motorola Atrix 4G for pre-orders starting from February 13. Further extending its availability, Walmart Wireless has announced the Motorola Atrix 4G and Laptop Dock bundle through their online retail service for fans of the phone.

The Atrix 4G is powered by the Nvidia Tegra dual-core processor which is capable of supporting the entire laptop set-up. It runs on the Android 2.2 OS along with a new Webtop OS specifically developed by Motorola for improved performance. Sporting a 4” qHD capacitive glass display, the handset can be used for functions such as making voice calls or sending text messages. It may also be attached onto the back of the passive laptop dock for more performance intensive or productive tasks.

Once this phone is docked, the concerned laptop powers up with Motorola’s Webtop OS for enabling users to rake in the benefits offered by AT&T’s 4G network. In addition, incoming calls can be answered seamlessly via the included Laptop Dock speakerphone or a Bluetooth headset device which is sold separately. The handset further features an integrated fingerprint scanner and remote data wiping capability for providing extra security.

The Motorola Atrix 4G and Laptop Dock bundle can be bought along with AT&T plans through the Walmart Wireless website.
