Vu Televisions has introduced 15 LED TV models carrying price tags between Rs 9000 and a whopping Rs 900000, in the Indian market. They have been classified under three categories including Personal TV, Affordable Luxury and Hi-Fi 4K Ultra HD, with no prizes for guessing which is the cheapest series and which one is the most expensive.
You’ll have to step into one of Vu’s brick-and-mortar stores or go to the company’s official online portal if you want to purchase any of the new LED TVs with screens larger than 55 inches. Flipkart has exclusive rights over selling the models that feature displays measuring smaller than 55 inches.
The costliest Vu Hi-Fi 4K Ultra HD lineup has TVs with panels of 42 inches to 85 inches. The company has also made a bet in the curved TV segment with an option offering 65 inches of screen estate. For those who have limited space in the living room, office or bedroom, the Personal TV range may seem more suitable.
It contains the LED TV models carrying the least expensive tags and measuring between 19 inches and 42 inches. The Affordable Luxury section plays host to TVs that start from 46 inches and go up to 65 inches. Vu has adopted a mixed approach with regards where a customer will need to go in order to buy one of its products.
Vu thinks it’s better to avoid incurring the overhead expenses related to physical outlets when it comes to selling its more wallet-friendly TVs. On the other hand, consumers might want to get a proper feel of the product they’re buying if they intend to spend a comparatively bigger amount of money on a large screen TV.
The Vu LED TVs are set to be made available from March 2015 onward. They cost upwards from Rs 9000, as we’ve already mentioned above.
