Vodafone to bring HTC HD2 in Spain

Just a few weeks back, the Windows Mobile 6.5 driven HTC HD2 was unveiled and it is all set to hit the stores in Spain by December via Vodafone.

The HTC smartphone is claimed to be the first Windows smartphone that employs the HTC Sense interface. The HD2 is powered by Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor and offers access to the Windows Marketplace for applications. The handset boasts of a 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen and a 5 megapixel camera.

As far as the connectivity features are concerned, the HD2 features HSPA, Wi-Fi connectivity and GPS. Further, the mobile phone incorporates HTC Peep for Twitter, Microsoft Exchange sync and access to the Microsoft My Phone service for storage. Apparently, the Windows Mobile handset is expected to reach UK via O2 and will be made available in the US near the beginning of 2010.

Beginning December, Vodafone Spain will offer HTC HD2 smartphone exclusively for business customers. The HTC smartphone will be made available in Spain via Vodafone shops, along with a Vodafone mobile internet tariff plan subscription. Users can select Vodafone’s Real Mail package available for EUR 15 per month, or for the Windows Mobile email service for a monthly fee of EUR 22.
