Vodafone rolls out new Rs 511, Rs 569 packs

Vodafone is bringing the heat to the ongoing tariff war going on in India amongst the big telecom companies with 2 new prepaid plans. One will set you back by Rs 569, while the other goes for Rs 511.

Starting with the Rs 511 pack, Vodafone is giving away 2GB of 4G/3G data every day, unlimited calls, and 100 SMSes per day. All this lasts for 84 days, translating to a sizable 168GB in all. Terms and conditions apply as usual, including limited these so-called unlimited calls to 250 minutes daily and 1000 minutes per week.

The other fresh Vodafone scheme on the block goes a bit higher at Rs 569 and offers 3GB of data per day, the same limitless voice calls, and 100 SMSes per day. This deal also sticks around for 84 days, granting you 252GB over the course of the validity period.

Telecom Talk reports that these new plans have appeared only in a couple of circles, so the two might not be available pan-India. Till this happens, Vodafone has a Rs 509 and Rs 549 pack which serve up 1.4GB and 3.5GB every day, respectively. The former has a validity of 90 days, while the latter has a validity of 28 days.

Hopefully, Vodafone will push out the older tariffs and establish the new Rs 511 and Rs 569 schemes as their replacements. Meanwhile, Reliance Jio has a Rs 448 plan of its own which dishes out 2GB of data/day for 84 days for a total of 168GB of data. It also has a Rs 498 deal which offers the same benefits for 91 days for 182GB of data in all.
