Those of you who’re going to pre-order Apple’s iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S Plus might like the 6 months of free data that Vodafone is offering to new and old customers alike. Only postpaid users can avail of the freebies which are being flogged through Amazon India and involves seller Cloudtail. It will be revoked if the buyer returns the handset or changes the plan type during the aforementioned period through which it’s valid.
The per monthly free (does it matter if you can afford an iPhone 6S or 6S Plus?) benefits of the Vodafone Red 1299 Plan cover 3GB of 3G data, 4000 local or STD minutes and 1500 local or national text messages. Once a subscriber crosses the plan limits, they will be charged 50 paise per SMS, 50 paise per voice minute and 50 paise per MB of internet data used.
If these freebies worth Rs 8895 weren’t enough, the company has also promised customers access to a dedicated Vodafone relationship manager. The charges applicable on roaming, international calling and Value Added Services will be levied according to the Vodafone Red 1299 Plan. The offer is open from now until November 30. Airtel has yet to reveal its cards, though iPhone 6S and 6S Plus buyers are likely to receive similarly valuable benefits.

The new Apple handsets’ price starts at Rs 62000 for the 16GB iPhone 6S, while its 64GB and 128GB capacities cost Rs 72000 and Rs 82000. The iPhone 6S Plus can be grabbed at Rs 72000, Rs 82000 or Rs 92000, depending on whether you’re after the 16GB, 64GB or 128GB variant. In view of the festive season, the company has set itself a sales target of 12 lakh units and a marketing budget of Rs 300 crores for the October to December quarter of this year.
