Consumers of its Rs 999 3G/4G scheme will get 10GB of data now, a rise of 54%. Vodafone is also extending these offers to entry-level users who utilize the internet in a limited way, hoping to encourage first-time users into coming online.

Accordingly, the company’s Rs 39 2G sachet pack with 5 days worth of validity is supposed to deliver 225MB of data, an increase of 41% from the earlier 160MB. The cheaper Rs 12 3G/4G pack with 1-day validity now serves up 50MB of data, as opposed to the previous 30MB. Again, this marks a 67% rise in data which can be consumed.

However, it should be noted that the tariffs mentioned above are indicative and may differ from circle to circle.
