The Vodafone Blue Facebook phone that’s recently been launched in India appears to take the social networking scenario to a whole new level. The phone comes with the complete Facebook experience, allowing users to upload pictures, visit profiles and update their status, with a single click. In addition to this, the homescreen regularly displays updates, notifications and posts.
While the social networking features are plenty, the Blue Facebook phone also retains the qualities of a classic smartphone. It has a 2.4” QVGA screen, an optical trackpad and a QWERTY keypad making typing simple for multiple chat sessions on the social networking site. Plus, fast internet browsing is enabled by the Opera Mini 5 Web browser. Photographs which have been taken from the phone’s 2MP camera can swiftly be uploaded on Facebook. As for music lovers, FM Radio and a music player supported by a 3.5mm jack has been incorporated.

The handset’s inbox also displays Facebook messages alongside texts and email. It also automatically synchronizes friends’ Facebook profiles in the address book. The entire ‘Blue’ experience is in sync with the sites aspiration to make ‘every phone social’.
The Vodafone Blue Facebook phone is priced at Rs. 4,950 inclusive of taxes, comes with unlimited access to Facebook for a year from the date of its purchase, in India.
