For resident mobile phone buffs across Germany, two new handset will be out for sale towards the end of April. The Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus phones are slated to make their debut in Germany through Vodafone and O2 in the current month.
Both phones are capable of running multiple applications with their webOS feature. Palm Synergy aggregates customer information from various places into just one comprehensive view along with universal search and inconspicuous notifications. Palmweb OS applications such as linked contacts, notifications, layered calendars and GPS can be incorporated into the core webOS experience for users.
Palmweb OS also boasts of over-the-air software updates which deliver users additional features and performance enhancements directly on the handsets. Both phones proffer O2 and Vodafone clients are provided with increased flexibility for internet access through Wi-Fi. Additionally, the devices are capable of acting as mobile Wi-Fi routers with a webOS app that is available for download via the Palm App Catalog.

The Pre Plus is attributed with a slider keyboard, gesture area, 16GB of storage, high-performance processor and expansive touchscreen. It is bundled in with the Palm Touchstone Back Cover that allows it to be compatible with the Touchstone Charging Dock that is sold separately. The Palm Pixi Plus is touted to be an affordable smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard and instantly accessible messaging and web content features.
Vodafone and O2 customers across Germany will be able to lay their hands on the handsets by April 28 this month. The Pixi Plus can be accessorized with Touchstone Charging Dock-compatible color Palm Pixi Touchstone Back Covers and the Palm Pixi Artist Series Back Covers that can be purchased through the company’s official website.
