The Vivo Y69 has gotten launched in India as yet another selfie-focused phone, with this particular model catering to the sub-Rs 15000 segment. It’s been priced at Rs 14990 in India and is set to go up for sale starting from September 1 via Flipkart, Amazon, and offline outlets.
The Y69 boasts of a 16MP front-facing camera which is enhanced by an aperture of f/2.0 and a Samsung S5K3P3ST sensor. Vivo’s signature Moonlight Glow light is also present to brighten up selfies taken in the dark in a gentler way than the standard harsh flash modules that are commonly found in smartphones.
The Vivo offering comes with a host of camera features to accompany its 13MP primary lens like Bokeh, Group Selfie, and Live Photo. The last sounds similar to Apple’s Live Photos, allowing users to bring images to life by capturing footage to create a GIF-like snapshot.
Apart from its photography skills, the Y69 features a standard mix of mid-range specs. It comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded within its home button and Android 7.0 Nougat layered over with Funtouch OS 3.2, the brand’s own skin.
