The Vivo Y27L, Y31 and Y15S series of affordable smartphones have been launched and will be sold through both offline and online outlets across India. Their prices range from Rs 6000 to Rs 13000.
To recall, the 4G-ready Vivo Y27L had been listed on the brand’s official site last week. It costs Rs 12980 and is out in stores now. The device flaunts a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280p. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat-based Funtouch OS 2.0 and its daily operations are fueled by a 2260mAh battery and a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor.
In terms of memory, the dual-SIM phone has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal space, expandable till 128GB via a microSD card slot. It sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing lens. Vivo has packaged the device with an AK4375 chipset for Hi-Fi audio output. It also comes with a Long Screenshot feature to capture multiple screens while scrolling through the display.

Coming to the Vivo Y31, the smartphone doesn’t have a specific value attached to it yet. As far as specs go, it uses Android 5.1 Lollipop with a layer of Funtouch OS 2.1 on top. The device carries a 4.7-inch 720p screen and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 CPU, coupled with 1GB of RAM.
It contains a 2100mAh battery and 8GB of internal storage. The handset houses an 8MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary snapper. Moving on to the Vivo Y15S, the entry-level device has a similar set of features compared with the Y31, except for its 4.5-inch IPS 480 x 854p screen, 5MP rear camera and 1900mAh battery.
The costs of the Vivo Y31 and Y15S should be announced soon. Like we mentioned above, the Vivo Y27L is currently retailing at Rs 12980.
