Vivo X5 Max ‘world’s thinnest smartphone’ officially unveiled in India for Rs 32980

Unveiled in China only a few days back, the Vivo X5 Max which is also known as the world’s thinnest smartphone, has made India its new market and is ready to be sold in the country at Rs 32980. With a thickness of just 4.75mm, this device has managed to dethrone the Oppo R5 which used to sport the ‘world’s slimmest’ distinction thanks to its 4.85mm skinny body.

There’s a slight advantage which the Vivo X5 Max has over the Oppo device however. While the latter does not feature a 3.5mm audio jack, the former has somehow managed to incorporate it into its body despite its comparatively thinner profile.
