New entrants binging on the Ice Cream Sandwich OS could be a usual glimpse at the MWC 2012, and further backing that fact are the ViewSonic ViewPhone 4s, 4e and 5e smartphones which are expected to unveil at the event. The highlight apparently being the Android 4.0 OS, the phones have also been fitted with an additional SIM port.
The ViewPhone 4S sports a 3.5-inch Super Clear IPS LCD with a 960 × 640p screen resolution while a 1GHz processor powers all the operations of the device. As far as the photography specs are concerned, a 5MP camera is supported on the back panel along with a VGA front-facing snapper.
The second entrant dubbed the ViewPhone 4e shows off a 3.5-inch LCD screen with 480 × 320p resolutions. Its processor is reported to clock in at 650MHz, which is relatively slower than the former mentioned handset. A 3MP camera transfixed on the rear side may provide some photogenic moments. The offering is also cited to sport one additional touch button, when compared to its counterparts. Nevertheless, a profile measuring 10.3mm could fetch it some more points in terms of appearance.
Lastly, the ViewPhone 5e equips a 5-inch display with 800 × 480p resolutions, as revealed by Engadget. The ViewSonic ViewPhone 4s, 4e and 5e dual SIM phones price and availability details have not received a mention as of now. They are expected to be showcased at the MWC 2012, which is slated to take place in Barcelona on February 27.
