After going official for the US earlier this month, the Vertu Aster luxury smartphone has made its way around the globe for sale in India. The device obviously doesn’t come cheap and it’s being priced at Rs 475000 which is an insane amount of money.
Well, if you were to compare the phone’s original cost with the one for India, then you’d land up being surprised. In the UK, the Vertu Aster is currently selling for €7900 which roughly translates to Rs 619546 which is far higher than what’s being asked.
On the upside, you get your money’s worth as no compromises have been made with the handset. From premium leather finishes like Calf, Karung and Ostrich drenched in different shades to a grade 5 titanium body to a rugged front panel protected by a sapphire crystal glass, the exterior couldn’t get more stylish.

Vertu has thrown in some of its own custom software enhancements as well. And for processing power, there’s a 2.3GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 SOC doing the heavy lifting.
