Verizon Wireless moves in with Samsung 4G LTE smartphone

Samsung and Verizon Wireless have teamed up to unleash the newest Samsung 4G LTE smartphone which will be available on Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE Mobile Broadband network.

Powered by the Android 2.2 operating system, the newest entrant comes along with Google Mobile services like Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube and the Android Market. Adorning a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display, the handset boasts of 1GHz application processor and HTML5 web browser that utilizes high-speed 4G LTE connectivity.

The offering delights photo enthusiasts since it comes with an 8MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and 1.3MP front-facing camera. The typing experience is leveraged with the virtual QWERTY keyboard which features the enticing Swype technology. Besides Samsung’s Media Hub, the device enables users to stay connected with their loved ones using the company’s Social Hub.

The Samsung 4G LTE smartphone was displayed at CES 2011.
