Users have just got yet another stylish device that can comfortably fit in their pocket. Verizon Wireless and LG recently announced the LG Fathom, the ultimate office on the move, will be available in Verizon Communications Stores beginning May 27. The phone comes with Windows Phone power for higher productivity, stylish design and global capacities to make voice calls in more than 220 countries and access data in 200 countries, 110 with 3G speeds.

The mobile comes with a sleek slate blue case which looks fashionable in formal meetings as well as casual outings. Fathom adorns a large 3.2’ touchscreen with an Improved Touch Experience, a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 1GHz processor for faster access and expandable storage of up to 16GB. The phone is equipped with Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 with support for all the profiles like headset, hands-free, stereo, phone book access, basic printing, basic imaging, object push for vCard and vCalendar, file transfer, and serial port.

Latest Windows Media Players 10 Mobile, video player for WMV, MP4 and 3GP formats, built-in MP3 and WMA music player with music library, one touch speaker phone and stereo sound via headset or Bluetooth make this device a personal entertainment system.

Clicking photos will be fun with Fathom’s 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera and camcorder which have five different camera resolutions and three different video resolutions, Macro Mode for detailed, up close pictures, Panorama for three guided, sequential shots, continuous shot for up to six consecutive photos, and image editor with zoom, rotate, resize, crop, added frames and stamps. Users will also enjoy video quality choice of normal, fine or super camcorder settings with video recording time from a minute to an hour.

Microsoft Outlook, Office, Exchange Server are synchronized by Windows Mobile Device Center and ActiveSync to keep personal and professional information organized and updated. Also, users can view and edit files with Excel Mobile, OneNote Mobile and Word Mobile and view important presentations with PowerPoint Mobile.

Additionally, the LG Fathom includes wireless manager which enables and disables wireless connectivity for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and cellular network, VZ Navigator capabilities, VZ Navigator Global capabilities, and Flash User interface support to text and send clear images and fun animations.

The phone comes with a dedicated task manager for quick access to mobile Task Manager, luminous sensor designed to adjust LCD backlight brightness depending on light conditions and a proximity sensor that instantly locks touchscreen buttons while talking on the phone.

The LG Fathom will be available beginning May 27 in Verizon Communications Stores and online beginning June 3 for $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
