Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus, HTC Rezound pricing and availability uncovered

Verizon Pricing And Availability

The Verizon basic pricing details and availability dates for the soon to be showcased Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the HTC Rezound, better known as the HTC Vigor, have recently been spotted. Both these devices are marked for a minimum advertised pricing period between November 10, 2011 and May 10, 2012.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is expected to be unveiled along with the Ice Cream Sandwich version of the Android operating system. This should happen at the joint Google and Samsung event scheduled to happen at Hong Kong on October 19.

On the other hand, the HTC Rezound has been known as the HTC Vigor until now. This device apparently features a 4.3-inch screen, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB RAM and an 8MP rear camera. Apart from this, it is also in the news for the much-hyped Beats Audio software.

But balancing this slightly in the favor of the new Nexus handset is the Ice Cream Sandwich treat, which will be a first and a highly attractive point of the device. In contrast, the HTC Rezound is offering the usual slab of Gingerbread goodness. Nonetheless, both these devices are expected to be offered in the same price range from the network carrier, reports Engadget.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus and HTC Rezound show a minimum advertised pricing of $299 each. The final retail pricing along with the date of shipping and consumer availability is likely to be subject to change.
