Upgraded HTC Desire 816G with octa core processor introduced in India for Rs 19990

The HTC Desire 816G smartphone has already been available for purchase in India for a few months now, but you’ll soon be able to get hold of the upgraded version which packs a new processor and more memory. The handset has been officially launched for Rs 19990 which is just Rs 1000 more than what the previous model was priced at.

The new HTC Desire 816G smartphone comes with double the performance and this is made possible by dropping the old quad core processor for a 1.7GHz octa core chipset. The new SOC is most likely from MediaTek based on the Cortex A7 which is also found on the recently launched Desire 526G+.
