Updated version of NYCMate application steps in for iPhone

NYCMate 2.0 AppPreviously, the NYCMate application updated New Yorkers with all necessary details, from neighborhood maps to the official subway maps with precise train timings. Now the application gets updated with a new 2.0 version for the iPhone and iPod touch devices. Crafted by Densebrain and episode6, the upgrade enables tourists to roam in New York City without any fear of getting lost and drops to correct destinations.

With an instant one tap technology, users can easily reach out any location via buses or trains effortlessly. The updated version works on some exciting new functionalities like GPS locator, routing and service alerts. Further it is also loaded with a customizable tab bar, street map views and the capability to store bookmark destinations for utilizing it later.

Alongside it also displays offline Long Island Railroad and Metro North schedules right on their handy devices. In the near future, an updated version is said to be coming on the Android platform as well.
