UberMusic Android App

Apple’s App Store is not the only one to boast of its ever increasing number of apps, Android Market is trying to catch up and the latest one comes in the form of the UberMusic app. It is a highly customizable music player which allows Android users to change the user interface with varying skins. The app was earlier in open beta phase and now released into the Android Market.

The app offers six distinct skinnable widgets. It is capable of automatically downloading artist pictures and also setting them as screen backround. Shuffling and overscrolling also form a part of the feature list. Hitting the play button affixed next to a playlist, artist or album enables directly playing the corresponding track.

Android device users can choose tabs that they wish to be displayed on the library screen. Offering complete personalization, users can customize the status bar to view the notifications. It is inclusive of free live wallpapers displaying the ablum art. Engadget reveals that one of its skins comes across pretty similar to the Zune.

The UberMusic app can be procured through Android App store for a price of $3.49.
