Uber and Airtel partner up to provide free 4G Wi-Fi

Uber has announced a partnership with Bharti Airtel to provide customers with a range of offers including free in-cab 4G Wi-Fi. The taxi app has started the service in Mumbai and will introduce it in other cities soon.

Along with Paytm and credit/debit cards, Uber now allows users to pay for rides with Airtel Money. As a limited-period introductory scheme, people will get double the amount for a recharge up to Rs 500. The company has also declared the network provider to be its official telecom partner across India and plans to give Airtel’s existing customers an additional Rs 500 off on their first ride.
