The offering, also going by the name Droid Charge, is powered by the Gingerbread platform and lands equipped with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen. On the flip side, there’s an 8MP snapper popping out along with a front-facing 1.3MP sensor for video conferencing. This fresh entrant is driven by the Hummingbird processor clocking in at a frequency of 1GHz.

The faster downloading and browse and talk function make it the go-to device for customers who depend on their smartphone to keep up with their busy schedules,” commented Edward Perez, vice president of sales and marketing operations for U.S. Cellular.
Network connectivity options like Wi-Fi and 3G as well as 4G are readily deployed by the handset. Its 1600mAh lithium-ion battery is expected to deliver up to 6.5 hours of talktime and nearly 13 days of standby time. With regards to the memory, the phone delivers 1.4GB internal memory. Additionally, it provides access to an array of apps via Google Play owing to the Android OS. What’s more, it houses an HDMI port for streaming content onto larger screens.
