Turner Broadcasting, Player X extends Distribution Deal for Mobile Games

Turner Broadcasting and Player X Logo Turner Broadcasting has announced an agreement which has been extended with mobile media company Player X, to distribute new Turner Mobile Game in 2008.

The deal has been signed by Player X to distribute only Turner Broadcasting games, ringtones and wallpapers to 30 European territories which include UK, France, Germany and Russia.

The property also includes Scooby Doo: Saving Shaggy, Hong Kong Phooey: Kung Fu Capers, Dexter’s Laboratory: Brain Reaction and Cow and Chicken: Super Cow Adventure.

The above mentioned shows are quiet popular on Turner Broadcasting kids’ channels like the Cartoon Network, Boomerang. Cartoon Network takes it to the games; this replicates this content by taking the features to TV viewers to a completely new audience.

“We’re really pleased to have extended our relationship with Turner and look forward to selling these games all around Europe,” stated Tony Pearce, Player X CEO.

Joe Braman, Director of Mobile Sales at Turner Broadcasting commented, “We’re delighted to extend our relationship with Player X and look forward to these great games hitting the market.”

As Player X was recently selected as the finalist for the Red Herring Top 100 Awards it was a pat on the back for the efforts they put in to make their presence in the mobile gaming market.
