Lollapalooza App Users who are excited about the upcoming Lollapalooza music fiesta and want to check out the schedules and other important details can look into the latest radio app released. The trio Lollapalooza, Slacker, and Seed Labs have come together to launch the Lollapalooza 2010 iPhone app. It blends in Slacker’s Lollapalooza 2010 Radio, which is a free radio station providing a vast collection of music from 100+ bands staging in this year’s Lollapalooza event. Created by Seed Labs, it features the Lollapalooza 2010 station that enables the user to effortlessly add favorite artists to the individual user’s Lollapalooza event schedule on the station.

Slacker combined with Lollapalooza and Seed Labs, brings out a hand-crafted radio station attuned with a feature-packed event application. The radio station has been attuned by Slacker music professionals and the Lollapalooza team to provide their listeners with an immersive and complete experience. With the festivals opening date nearing, users can catch up on updates of the event, plus information about key artists and details of the “can’t miss” performances and activities happening on the show.

“Lollapalooza 2010 Radio is a great way for fans to explore the bands playing Lollapalooza,” asserts Michael Feferman, Digital Director for C3 Presents, the producers of Lollapalooza. “Over 75% of our fans utilize our custom scheduling technology to plan their Festival experience, and the deep integration of Slacker’s radio station with that custom scheduling functionality makes the artist discovery process easier and more exciting for our fans.”

The Lollapalooza radio station has been produced by the three, in order to generate awareness and prepare fans for the festivals events. The Lollapalooza fiesta commences from August 6 to 8 this year. The radio would broadcast music from prominent bands and singers like Lady Gaga, Soundgarden, Green Day, Arcade Fire and The Strokes.

If that’s not all, music enthusiasts can listen to the station even after the fest is over and update themselves with the latest news about the event, along with custom interviews of various performing artists. Slacker and Seed Labs have worked intimately with each other and claim to offer ‘an industry-first application’. The three are said to blend in a well-accepted music service with their demonstrated music festival application know-how to provide a well-suited Lollapalooza companion for the iPhone.

The Lollapalooza 2010 Radio is available wherever Slacker is accessible such as iPhone, Android-powered smartphones, BlackBerry smartphones, webOS smartphones, web, Windows Mobile, Slacker-enabled Sony TVs or Blu-ray players or Slacker-enabled other devices. The iPhone users have direct access to the fest’s lineup of events through the Slacker station. Plus, the iPhone user may access artist profiles, album cover art and more by simply downloading the Lollapalooza application via iTunes.

The radio station can be accessed from the Lollapalooza 2010 app and also by selecting “Lollapalooza 2010” from the Slacker Spotlight segment via a Slacker application. Users can also access the station by logging on to Slacker or Lollapalooza website. The Lollapalooza 2010 app is currently obtainable from the Apple App Store.
