Truphone launches a new version of its Android application for the Android v2.0. This new app incorporates advanced features making it faster, easy to use and also claims to be the best Android App released by Truphone.
It offers a user-friendly interface that adds to the user’s convenience. The Android App comes with all-in-one conversations hub benefiting users with Truphone’s low international call rates along with local call rates. The app facilitates users by making a local GSM call to the Truphone gateway (this call is free for has packages of minutes). This call is then routed through the Truphone network.

The app allows users to call to Skype and Google Talk friends. The Android v2.0 for allows easy messaging to friends through Skype, Google Talks, MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, AIM and Twitter for free. The service operators roaming charges will be applied when traveling abroad. Truphone suggests using this app only in their home country.
