Truedialer application updated to support dual SIM smartphones

If you have the Truedialer app installed on your dual SIM phone, there’s good news in store for you as the latest version of the software has been equipped by its maker with support for two cards rather than just one. This feature is being added through the new 2.0 version of the utility, albeit only to Android devices.

Nami Zarringhalam who happens to be the co-founder and chief strategy officer at Truecaller, has said that the developers have introduced this addition by recognizing that dual SIM compatibility is a ‘central part of the phone experience’ for users. He also mentioned that their efforts are aimed at making this app a full-bodied replacement of the default dialer.

It has been made clear that more than 500 dual SIM Android devices are supported by this new version of Truedialer. Another new feature that has been added to the utility happens to be an Advanced Swipe Right design which enables you to add names to favorite contacts lists. The app’s very own call log shows the exact SIM from which a call is made, and even lets you place one-click calls from your dial pad.

Truedialer is a by-product of the extremely popular Truecaller app, and was released back in October last year. It acts a dialer app which taps into Truecaller’s database of more than 1.6 billion contacts to deliver identities of unknown callers. While this updated version is only available on Android, the app also exists on the Windows Phone platform.
