Trilibis Orbit Phonebook App

Trilibis is all geared up to launch its first cross-platform, cross-network, cross device mobile phonebook application called the Orbit with Social Volume control. The Orbit efficiently manages users’ communication including voice, text, email and social networking offering users a revolutionary networking experience.

The app features two different techniques allowing users to organize their contacts precisely. Its Inner Orbit feature picks all important contacts that the user wishes to organize and creates special orbits for every social circle like friends, colleagues and family. Integrated with Social Volume control, this app permits users to easily organize level of communication received. Users can decide how often and how much information they wish to receive from Orbit.

“In today’s hyper-connected world, we utilize several different channels and methods to access e-mail, call colleagues, text our friends, update Facebook and more. The massive amount of information in many different places creates an enormous challenge for users,” said Alex Panelli, CEO of Trilibis Mobile. “We created Orbit — the next evolution of the phonebook — to make it easy to gather, organize and communicate with your contacts and social circles. Orbit delivers a significant improvement of the essential phone book functions plus more: connect via multiple mediums with one touch, receive consolidated social network feeds and manage the flow of social information with the Social Volume control.”

Specially designed to best suit the needs of users, this app has a simple setup process and easily functions with the phone’s existing phonebook. Users can easily select and follow a group of contacts with its Inner Orbit feature. The Orbit app comes with enhanced core controls allowing users to manage Orbit phonebook like the existing one.

Orbit phonebook features improved A-to-Z scrolling facilitating users to easily navigate through contacts on their touchscreen handsets. The app keeps users updated with the latest information and automatically creates a favorite list of most communicated people. It also ensures protection of original address book that will always be on the phone eliminating the fear of losing important contacts. The app also features over-the-air updates for integration of information.

The Orbit application will be available for iPhone and BlackBerry users for free in the fourth quarter of this year. In early 2010, this application will be available for the Android platform and later for other feature phones.
