Titan Juxt smartwatch hits India starting at Rs 15995

The Titan Juxt has been unveiled in India and is now up for pre-orders via the company website and Myntra. It’s also going to be sold via select offline outlets across India soon.

Co-created in partnership with HP, the Titan Juxt comes in 3 models namely a Stainless Steel one for Rs 15995, a Rose Gold version priced at Rs 17995 and a Titanium variant for Rs 19995. All the units have been fitted with leather straps and sport a traditional look. Unfortunately, the wearable has not been granted a touch-enabled screen.

Instead, all notifications are delivered within a small rectangular black and white OLED display within the watch face. It’s an odd choice given the large number of smartwatches in the market which offer an interactive screen like the Moto 360 (2nd Gen). The Juxt may appeal more to those who want a classic watch furnished with some intelligent features.

Taking a closer look at its specs, Titan promises the product’s battery can last for up to 5 days on a single charge. The brand has blessed it with 5 ATM water resistance and an anti-corrosion hypoallergenic stainless steel back cover to enhance its durability. Users can sync the offering with their iOS or Android device in order to get alerts.

These include calendar events, messages, social media updates and calls. It further tracks the number of steps the consumer has taken and allows them to set a daily fitness goal. According to PTI, Titan is hoping to turn things around with its entry into the smart wearables market. The watch industry in India has apparently seen single digit growth in the past year.

You can buy the Titan Juxt via the brand’s retail site, Myntra or through select World of Titan and Helios outlets.
