Titan has rolled out the Juxt Pro in India, its second try at grabbing a piece of the smartwatch market while there’s still room. The watch has a circular touchscreen display and thickness of 15.2mm. It comes pre-loaded with a selection of 20 watch faces that can be changed according to preferences of the wearer.
The Juxt Pro display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The LCD screen measures 1.3 inches and has a resolution of 360 x 360p with IPS technology. Its density is recorded at 278ppi. The body is made of 316L surgical stainless steel and it is water-resistant up to 30m underwater. Android phones using version 4.4 or above and iPhones on iOS 8 or higher can be connected to the smartwatch.
Pairing a smartphone to the Juxt Pro allows the latter to display app notifications. You can check WhatsApp messages and emails on its tiny screen. It also lets you answer phone calls. Hooking the wearable up with a handset is made possible with the Titan Juxt app, and the connection is established via Bluetooth.
A 1GHz Intel dual core processor and 512MB RAM power the Juxt Pro. Titan provides internal storage of 4GB with the watch. Music hoarded in the gadget can be accessed via a Bluetooth headset. The company claims that the watch’s 450mAh battery allows usage for up to 36 hours on the go. It apparently takes only 70 minutes to be charged up completely.
The accompanying Titan Safety app is a feature that sends your location to a pre-listed emergency contact. You can also locate your misplaced phone using its Finder app. The application commands your handset to either ring or vibrate to enable you to recover it easily if it’s within earshot.
