New Teewe 2 Chromecast like HDMI dongle introduced in India

If you’ll recall, a company named Mango Man Consumer Electronics had released a pretty affordable Chromecast competitor named Teewe last year which is being sold exclusively through Snapdeal right now. The Teewe has just been blessed with a successor which comes equipped with additional features, and costs just Rs 2399.

This HDMI stick can only be pre-ordered now through its official website, but it’s slated to be sold via Amazon as well, from May 25 onwards. Apart from showcasing the features of the new Teewe 2 dongle, its makers have also unveiled two big partnerships that it has struck with biggies like Eros International and Bharti Airtel.

Teewe 2

Every buyer of the Teewe 2 will be blessed with a 2-month Eros Now premium subscription that will allow them to access a large catalogue of video content. Furthermore, under the partnership with Airtel, owners of the new device will be provided with 20GB per month of free data for 3 consecutive months.

Coming to the new device itself, the Teewe 2 dingle has been built to be thirty percent smaller in size, if compared against its predecessor. It kicks in a detachable power adapter and cable, which are meant to facilitate additional flexibility and making the process of setting it up easy.

Teewe 2 With TV

The Teewe 2 has even been equipped with a quad core GPU and a dual core ARM Cortex A9 processor. This technical setup is accompanied by 1GB worth of RAM. As you know, the device connects to TV sets through their HDMI ports, while it needs an active Wi-Fi network in order to work.

Like we said, the Teewe 2 can be pre-ordered now through the company’s official website, while it’s slated to hit Amazon on May 25.
